A Message to Our Dear Customers

Before our regularly scheduled live sale this past week, Kate told me that she felt weird going live to sell clothes in light of what has been happening around the world with COVID-19.
In the words of a meme I read: It's an absolute dumpster fire of a situation we are in.
The world feels like it's falling completely apart. And while we know it'll pass, it doesn't mean it doesn't suck while it's here.
Small businesses are struggling big time in the wake of COVID-19.
Target, Walmart, and Amazon will survive. Sephora and Ulta will survive. Macys and Nordstrom will survive.
But one or two bad months can shatter a small business.
As a small boutique, I can tell you that Onyx & Oak is in this for the long haul. We'll continue to bring you the very best customer service and shopping experience possible.
Onyx & Oak provides income for our small team – Erica, Stefani, and Courtney – and is the only source of income for Kate and I. This is what provides for our family.
So, if you have the means, please snag some of those cute things you've been eyeing or buy a gift card to use in the future or for a friend.
Remember that simple things like sharing our videos and commenting on our posts goes a long way too.
But it's not just about us. Choose to shop with a small business as often as you can and help keep the economy going!
So, let's take a deep breath...
